Packaging steel strapping is also simply referred to as steel strapping. It is used for strapping pallets and other heavy goods.

There are three different grades of packaging steel strapping: Bright strap, quality strap and high-performance strap.

The quality classes provide information on the breaking load and elongation at break. For some applications, such as the packaging of wire coils or products that are still being heat-treated, steel strapping must still be used.
